Kathrine Nielsen works as a Special Advisor in the CEO Office at SFOC, where she supports the work of the CEO. Before joining SFOC, she worked at the Danish Ministry of Health and in the field of cardiovascular research. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Public Health Science from University of Copenhagen, with a focus on the topics of statistics, heart disease and air pollution, and is also a published co-author of a research paper exploring the determinants of health in heart disease patients.
